Axxess Version 8.1 Enhancements
The Inter-Tel Axxess converged system v8.1 offers many new and exciting enhancements. In this new version, the Internet Protocol Resource Card (IPRC) supports up to 32 IP devices, effectively doubling the capacity of each modular slot within the chassis. Axxess v8.1 also facilitates peer-to-peer audio, which allows IP and SIP devices to transmit and receive audio directly with each other over the network instead of through the chassis. Version 8.1 extends Caller ID to single line phones connected to SLC and SLC-16 ports and offers numerous OAI (Open Architecture Interface) enhancements.
