ACD

I am new to the PBX world and just purchased a used Inter-Tel GMX 48 phone system.
This includes the main KSU with 4 expansion modules.
It also includes a bunch of KTS24LK phones, some with displays and some without, plus one DSS unit.
Does anybody have experience with this unit, I am trying to figure out what features this has and how to install/configure it. Any information would be great.

look no futher.........I have installed at least 50 of these monsters.....

FIRST OF ALL....you need a dumb terminal to program (T.I. Silent 700)

SECOND...it uses 3 pairs of wires...with the 1st pair being reversed (good old Intertel technology!!)

THIRD...its very delicate...do not wire a jack with the 66 block connected and powered up or you will pop fuses left and right....

If you plan on keeping this system(dont...dump it for a AVAYA MAGIX or NORTEL) as its old....very old...and in todays digital systems very outdated and not supported...

I suggest you purchase a manual (about 500 pages) cause there is a lot of stuff to learn about this system....

Any other ??? you may have, please email me...I work with alot of the old Intertel/PREMIER telephone systems....

So for home use is it worth the effort?
Do I need to buy a terminal or is there some software/cable that I can get to terminal in from a PC?
Where can I get a hold of a manual? There is no information on inter-tel's website.
