Voicemail on Specific Extension Not Working

I've just taken over duties of administrating an Inter-Tel phone system and need some help.

Calls transferred to a specific extension are bouncing back instead of going to voice mail. All other extensions/mailboxes are acting correctly at this time.

Thanks,
Craig

Do you know that there IS a mailbox built for this extension?
Does the extension have VM as a forwarding path?

In addition to hammer's suggestions make sure that system forwarding is not disabled on the endpoint in question, the default feature code to toggle it is 354. You could also verify this in DB programming in the station flags for that endpoint.

Do you maybe have Unified Communicator? If so and routing is enabled for that endpoint then you would need to look into the routing rules.

Hope this helps!

This is one of the most common things to happen just as you describe it. Unforunatly if we send a tech out to check this and the customer has turned this off somehow, they may get billed for our tech to walk to the phone and dial 354.
