Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I am working with a two node system, both running InterTel Axxess. We made some server moves on Tuesday, and internodal data stopped transfering (I am at Node 1, and I can get local data, but not data from Node 3. Node 2 is no longer in service). Node 3 is up and running, and if I connect into its Call Center Server, I can see local data on that node. Nothing was changed as far as IP addresses, etc, and the CT Gateway shows both switches are active and connected, but we get no application connection in the Gateway - it just stays at "Waiting to Establish Communication". I have been scratching my head over this for a week now, does anyone have any ideas? Any help would be very much appreciated.

Rep Power: 1 ![]() | I believe the "waiting to establish communication" error you are looking at is probably just the gateway waiting for another application to connect. The default functionality of the cta gateway software is to not limit the amount of appilcation connection, so as each application connects a new window will open waiting for another application to connect. Say you have three applications, there will be four application windows, 3 for your applications and 1 that is waiting for another application to connect. One of the drop downs at the top of the ct gateway has a connection status option, this displays the status of the configured switch connections. If you open that status window does it say they are all connected and working? If not then you should verify the connectivity info for any node that is no connecting. There is a log for each switch connection and application connection in the ct gateway working directory, looking thru those may shed some light on the situation for you also. You may want to have a technician from your dealer come out and have a look as these kinds of issues can be difficult.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Thanks for the reply, here is some more information based on what you were talking about. I am looking at the Controller log for when the report was first communicated, and I get an error saying: "No where to send connection state information: Communication Socket old state=Connected new state=Connection Failure" Looking at the Connection status, both switches are reported as "Switch Connected". Application scope for both switches is reported as Inactive. There are only two switch windows and one application window, so there are no active applications. We have already had our vendor come out and look, but he has not been able to resolve. He is coming back out again tomorrow, but any other insight that I can get woudl be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for the reply

Rep Power: 1 ![]() | Verify the IP address and port are programmed with the proper connection info so it can connect to the gateway. Check to make sure the CT gateway application is programmed with the listening port you have the application programmed to connect to. If your dealer cannot resolve the issue make sure they call into Tech Support, they should be able to resolve this for you.
