Rep Power: 0 ![]() | This is one of the added features of version 1.2 software. According to the manual, Call Logging allows endpoint users to view logs of missed, received, and dialed calls. If equipped with a suitable endpoint, the user can return or redial intercom (IC) calls from the Call Log appearing on the endpoint display screen. But it looks like only Missed Calls, Received Calls, and Dialed Calls. Doesn't look like it will log errors.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Call logging has only come out in 2.3 software, to see what is going on with the station during a call, then you would have to download the CPH history and view that. The call logging that shows on the display is only static ram and any resets of the system at night clears those out.

Rep Power: 4 ![]() ![]() | Actually call logging was available on the 5000 much before 2.3, 1.2 seems like that is correct. You can download the cph log or use the System monitor application in the 5000 program group. This will pull either an error log or smdr log via IP and is very quick. As long as the system is setup for the system monitor app this would be much quicker and would provide the data in the smdr log that you are looking for. FYI if the smdr log shows an asterisk after the call this means the remote user hung up first. The CPH error log will show errors of some type but not all types. __________________ Life is a highway....

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Wrong, call logs which you can acces from the phone started in 2.3 software. CPH history logging was there the whole time and you can access that from DB Studio. Based on how you have the CPH history que flags set (OLM, Maintenance) will depend on how much info shows in the CP logs. the CPH log has to be decoded to see what is going on. The .log file will show basic system info.
