node devices

I need some help in understanding how nodes work. I have 6 locations with one being the local node. I can connect to the system and see the local and 5 other locations. What I can't do is make any programming changes on any extension that lies on any node other than the local. I have worked with Inter-Tel in the past but never with nodes. System version is 5.346.

I am asking because I have a phone on one of the nodes that is unable to transfer anyone to voicemail. I wanted to get into that extension programming to check it out.

Any help would be great! Thanks

Nodes are individual systems. To program an endpoint you have to login to programming on the local node that stations belongs to.
