Extension Swap - Digital to IP?

Is there a clean way to swap an extension that is assigned to a digital endpoint onto an IP endpoint? I can do most of it through DB studio, but it leaves a mess when it comes to vm. If I try to swap through my phone like I would for a digital to digital swap, it gives me an error.

You can only station swap like devices. I would recommend going into system/cabinets and then going to the associated card and setting the digital port to none. This will delete the keyset port but leave the mailbox. Create the new IP endpoint with the extension number of the mailbox. This will bring up the conflict manager, just click ok to associate the IP endpoint to the mailbox. Then go back to cabinets and enable the digital endpoint as a new device with a new extension number
