Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Hi, first time posting on the forums, I searched for an answer to my questions but didn't find any. I have a few questions regarding system programming on an Inter-tel 5000 system. We are starting up a small call center and would like to be able to do the following: 1- after so many seconds of holding/ringing, play a recording 2- in the event that the overnight person has to leave unexpectedly, we'd like to be able to forward calls to a cell phone 3- change ringing to silence (or potentially music in the future) I have a basic understanding of system programming, but nothing advanced. Thanks in advance

Overflow will play over and over again at whatever time you set it. The announcement will only play once. You can not manually forward calls from a hunt group but you can set a recall for the hunt group and forward this to a phantom station which is forwarded to the cell phone. Set the recall timer out far enough that it would normally be answered by an agent. Recall in the hunt group takes the caller out of the hunt group. You could try manually forwarding the phone but I am sure this will not work. You can adjust MOH to silence, tick tone, or music on hold per device in programming. Quote:

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Thanks for the info, that got me working with the hold message, but I'm still having problems with the ringing. It seems to work if I call the call routing application internally, but if I call in from the associated DID #, it rings. Any ideas?

Rep Power: 4 ![]() ![]() | Yes, MOH can be dependent on many things, from the CO Trunk Group, to The Hunt Group, to the endpoint. If you have a newer system you should set the CO trunk group moh setting to look at the next device for moh setting and then set the hunt group for MOH or tick tone, whatever. This is likely your problem. __________________ Life is a highway....
