All,
I have a few phones that auto pickup on the IC line after one ring...I have gone thru the interface and compared extensions and nothing is different...I remember that this may be a feature key setting 3xx but cant remember exactly

In DB Studio/Devices & Features/Stations look at the flags for the extensions that do this and turn off hands free. There is also a feature code look under Devices and Features Codes/Feature Codes and look for the code for hands free it is probably 319.

that is what I was thinking but all flags are identical...is there a "secret" list of codes? last I had this issue it was on a 8620 unit and well this is a plain 8500

No there is not a secret list of codes. Yes the flags are all the same on every endpoint. This allows you to customize an a endpoint by endpoint basis.

I did see something about a feature code 377 but I dont have that...and if I try it list as invalid feature code...its the same as the "Ring intercom always" from what I have read...from the DB Studio these phones are Identical

just did a 394 on it and all be darn....it finally works

In some systems the feature codes get changed that is why it is always best to look up feature codes in DB Studio.
