Back when i was on the road as a maint tech we had a resort that used such a system but i can't remember who provided the software. It was not nortel but worked with CS1000 in a campus environment.

OK lets beat this dead horse. F980 works. F986 does not. I have tested every possible angle including 3 I/C keys. The customer is a lawyer, (pays well to make him think I can do magic) need i continue.  this thread is dead. phonewiz out!!!

Sys is a MICS 7.1/CP-100. I have programmed every phone with 2 I/C keys. F980 and F986 are programmed as feature keys. F980 works ok with adl keys. F986 will not transfer CO calls to user MBX with adl key. This works if the user pushes Fkey then manually (using the keypad) inputs MBX. The customer said it worked with the system before CICS 7.0. I don't know this as fact. The customer just has to push one more key, wow what a concept. I guess users can't remember who has VM. Am I missing something? I have tested this and unless because CP-100 has 2 chs, CO calls will not follow internal adl to VM. Any input from you Norstar guys.

Sys is a MICS 7.1. I have call logging programmed per set to log all calls. The customer said the sys before (CICS 7.0) showed calls logged on the display and could use the soft key function (T7316E) to see call info. Is this programmed per set (F*84)? Have I missed some system parameters to make this work?

Thanks. Sorry for the double post. I do like pbxinfo.com better. I am going to need some help with CP in the future. This customer wants their AA reconfigured. Can you suggest any tech support that I can call while onsite?

Call Pilot / No Button Free

Sys is MICS 7.1/CP100. Opr phone (221) and other MBX users are getting (No Button Free) when using F986/F980 to transfer calls to VM. This was working until I made some prg changes. The only changes I made were turning on MOH, ringing service (night) from auto to manual and auto time&day. Unless I fat fingered something I am not sure what is causing this. I did change night back to auto. Can anyone help?

I have F980/F986 programmed as a button. When user tries to use this with auto dial button (internal ext) they get "No Button Free". It works just fine when user manually inputs the ext with keypad. I have phones programmed with prime line I/C and 1-I/C button. Could this be the prob?

You are correct. It needs to go to AA. Fwd to VM DN goes to MBX. Need ringing service to turn on and off at any time with ringing service button.

I just upgraded from CICS 7.0 to MICS 7.1. The opr set (221) T7316+KIM retained the ringing service button. I have doc (7.0) and need to make the ringing service turn off and on for any time during business hours making all lines go to Gen Delivery MBX without ringing. All lines A&R at 221. All calls go to Gen Delivery after 4 rings with ringing service on or off. How do I program this?

Sys is CICS 7.0. I need to change the installer pswd back to default (266344). Can I us the debug procedure without loosing data?
change time/date to Feb 1/91 -FEATURE * * DEBUG (**33284)-password is 144900
