Hello,

I am writting software that can interrogate a device through serial connection, and insert the results into a database. i am trying to apply this specifically to a Siemens hipath 150e, and I am trying to track down command list.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

More specifically, I am hoping for a list of Layer 5 commands that I could send maybe as text or hex strings. eg

0x20,0x00,0xxx

or

LOGIN_REQUEST header element

or

I could be going about this the wrong way. I am much n00b

Continuing, on, is there any way to get CDR using CSTA?

CSTA

I'm on a course all next week but will have another look for you when I can.
Is it just the CDR information you want out of the 150 or other things as well?

Thanks for the reply

This is the best I understand it... but might be wrong

I have a PABX that takes some calls. The information that is streamed out, me thinks smdr does not contain all of the information for me to follow the internal transfers, the queue and the operators that took the call.

To do this, I will need csta to interrogate the pabx, and find this sort of information out. Again, I stress that I might be wrong (it HAS happened b4)

What is the best method to programatically get that sort of info from the PABX?

I am in the same timezone (canberra) so any time that you have time it would be great.
