HiPath over SIP trunk to Cisco call manager

Hi,
I configured SIP trunk on Hipath 4000 (used the card 3550) to Cisco Call Manager. When the call is initiated by Hipath, I see the transport protocol used is UDP. Is there a way to change this to TCP. Please let me know the command.

I tried this scenario of integrating call manager with other vendor pbx over SIP trunk and they all use TCP as transport protocol.

Also, I see that siemens propose g.clear codec in the invite message along with other codecs. Is there a way to remove this codec from SDP proposal?
Please let me know

Appreciate your response.

Thanks,
Sarath

I found the solution myself. We can clear the G.Clear codec using software Hipath Assistant and changing the variables accessing the expert UI.

Hello,
I am also testing Cisco UCM to Siemens HiPath using SIP. What version of software are you running on the Siemens? I am interested on your results for hold/resume.

I could not find an option on the Siemens to use TCP for SIP signaling.

If you can browse to the HG from the Assistant, just go to the Voice Gateway section and uncheck the UDP tick box. This will change the signalling to TCP.
