Dialing on a HiPath 3700/3750

Hi all

I'm working at a company making emergancy phones for lifts. We have a customer using a HiPath 3700/3750 H150.
When taking the line off-hook we can hear the dial tone but after sending the dtmf tones for dialing the dial tone is still heard. It seams as if the HiPath don't recognize the dtmf tones we send. DTMFs are sent 100ms long and 100ms pause inbetween and at -6 dB. We've tried to adjust the lenght and pause of the tones but to no luck, though we havn't tried adusting the signal strengh. Can the signal strengh be a problem?

I've nerver worked with a HiPath or any other exchange systems so I'm having problems identifing the problem. And it doesn't help that I'm in Sweden and the customer is in Spain...

All ideas on the cause of this problem I would appriciate very mush. And also if anybody has any datasheet or other tech info on the HiPath 3700

Thanks.

Is the line configured to send out dtmf tones?, it looks like the line is pulse dialing.

reset the system, #0 sometimes works. Try a different port see if you have the same problem. Use a different phone that you know that works in that port, if it works then the fault lies with the phone.
