Hipath 3550 QSIG networking over BRI

I have an issue with a number of Siemens Hipath 3550s which are connected to our global private network using Basic rate ISDN. Calls are routed to an Ericsson AXE10 at the core of the network however they connect directly at each site into a BRI interface on a Cisco 2800 series router (Cisco VIC2/2BRI/NT/TE) and the wide area traffic is converted to IP for part of the route. The AXE10 is configured to work either with ISO QSIG or ECMA (v2) QSIG and we already have a large number of sites working correctly using this protocol over a PRI interface.

The Hipath appears to be working at first however as soon as a user mis-dials a call (for example not completing a dial string or taking too long) then this locks out the BRI trunks. The typical way of resetting this is to re-seat the cables whereupon the trunks come back into service however obviously this is not sustainable in the long term.

We were first instructed by Siemens to install a clocking card which we did however this has not fixed the issue.

Any suggestions?

Did you ever find a solution?
If not, I have a look at work as we have quite a number of those PABX's running on basic rate. (We call them OnRam over here).
