HiPath 4000 V4

Looking to find if anyone has any procedures to restore files from compact flash to harddrive for Hipath 4000 v4. Can't find anything in practices.

Hi ,

Compare the disk areas and just give copy- ddrsm:....... ( If it's new 80 GB HDD areas will be same by default ; other wise change by dasm cmd ).

revrt for further clarification

morning.
thare are two methods for this operation:

1. use if you want restore obly rmx data, you must copy area E & F from fc to hd with this command: "copy-ddsrm:A1,6,E&F,1,E&F,n;".

2. if you want restore all (rmx & unix data) you must start your pabx with fc (switch off hipath and reload it pressing lct button in ads processor to load data prom fc), inizialize hd copy the E&F areas with copy ddrsm, and I area with sta-copy, install the unix, enter in assistant eand restore the unix data form fc. (you can do this only if you have in fc the backup complte)
