I saw this is a new thread so if someone responds please help me with some suggestion. I have at work a hipath 3800. The people who did the initial programing are no where to be found. Is there any way for me to recover the "pin" to the system because i have to do some modification. If not:
1. How do I reset the system?
2. What program should i use (will hipath manager E do the job)?
3. How can I identify what connections are made physical . The system has about 100 numbers (50 from one telephone company and 50 from another) ?
4. How can I identify what type of boards are installed ? i think 50 numbers come on a flux equipment
5. How can I find out witch outside number is connected to witch CO line ?

Your Manager E must able to work with the usual pin. Resetting the switch you will lose everything programmed and you are starting afresh to do that hold down the switch on control card for 10 - 15 s the system will restart. I have also sent you a private message try that and let me know.
