payphones on the hipath 4000

Can the HiPath 4000 be configured to operate pay phones??

The 4000 is a IP switch and I don't think you can have analouge extensions in it.

Even the hipath 3000 system with analouge extensions, would not realy work because you would have to dial 9 or 0 for a line and this would affect the billing of the calls unless you pay phone would dial a prefix

Yes the 4000 is IP capable but my switch is not set up for IP. It's a plain old pbx and I have plenty of analog cards installed. There's ways of getting around having to dial 9 or 0.

The HiPath-DX and the iSDX running 7.1 can. The software engineer that I had in Australia never got around to doing anything on the 3000 or 4000's
