optiPoint Application Module questions?

Hi

I am trying to install these sexy looking attachments to the optiPoint 500 Standard and Advance and on optiPoint 420 Standard SIP but it don't seem to work. It's connected to the HiPath 3000 version 4.0 and the other is connected to the Asterisk SIP PABX. Would appreciate if someone out there can help.

Hopefully going to be installing one soon but my customer has V6 software, I don't think it will work on V4 & Siemens has a habit of not helping unless you have all latest software installed.

Regards

DanB

to the best of my knowledge version 4 does not support SIP, also what type of 3000 systems do you have 35xx,37xx,38xx, because the 37xx will only upgrade to ver 5 which still does not support SIP

Yes. I have tried it on Version 6.0 and it's working now. It's a HiPath 3550 system.

As for the optiPoint 420 Standard SIP, I can't get it to work yet. I am using it on my Asterisk Server. Have you heard of this server?
