Hicom 150 Analog extension line does not ring

Hello,

We have just reload Hicom 150E OfficeCom PABX. Almost everything works, except that the analog extension lines won't ring. It simply silent. However, if receiver picks up the phone, the conversation will begin. (Silent ring feature?)
I searched menu in Optiset E Memory but can't find menu related to this problem.

The PABX has one TLA8 and two 16SLAs. I tried connect analog at motherboard and both 16SLA. They're all silent ring.

Can anyone tell me how to fix it? Thanks.

I don't think all the extns on both boards would be silent ring, only time I have came across this is when it was the wrong boards for the version of software.

Will try and get back to you soonest as I am onsite and away from my desk.

Regards

Thanks for your reply. I didn't test all ports on each board. However, now I left office to up-country branch. So I asked my co-worker at office to test more port and some of them did ring. This is strange. I assumed that after master reset, every port should has same default configuration.

My co-worker asked local Siemens PABX dealer but they didn't arrange schedule yet. They will provide software and teach how to use software. They told us that there should be a sequence to turn on/off ring but they didn't know it yet as they never configure this model.

I'll ask my co-worker to try "do not disturb" code (*97 / #97) and will report if it works or not.

No problem, the "Do Not Disturb" would just make the phone busy, tell us how you got on as I would love to know how it works out.
