Cool Setting the Date and Time in a Hicom 300 H

Can anyone tell me how to change the date/time in a Hicom 300H? It won't let me post a link, but I did find another thread here (pbxinfo.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-4195.html) which gave the command below for a 300E.

CHA-DATE: <yyyy>,<mm>,<dd>,<hh>,<mm>,<s s>; where

yyyy = Year ranging from 1989 to 2078
mm = Month ranging from 1 to 12
dd = Day ranging from 1 to 31
hh = Hour ranging from 0 to 23
mm = Minutes ranging from 0 to 59
ss = Seconds ranging from 0 to 59

Unfortunately it didn't work for me in my 300H. When I use that command I get an error stating "VERB DOES NOT EXIST OR YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO USE IT WITH THAT NOUN!"

I don't know if the problem is the command or my login. Any ideas? I know very little about Siemens, but setting the time ought to be a pretty simple thing. Thanks.

try this:

Example
Setting the date to 18 October 1985 and the time of day to 11:15:00.
Input:
CHANGE-DATE:1985,10,18,11,15,00,EAST,60,NT;

Thanks for the reply, train. Unfortunately I got the same error as before (VERB DOES NOT EXIST OR YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO USE IT WITH THAT NOUN!). If that command works for you, then I'm thinking it must be an issue with my login.

Try as train said but leave out the east and 60 and NT.

This description is valid for SP300-V3.4 (And works for me)

Example
Setting the date to 18 October 1985 and the time of day to 11:15:00.
Input:
CHANGE-DATE:1985,10,18,11,15,00;

I still get the same error. I've put a call in to Siemens. Thanks for your help.

Some people use cha-date:
If try either change-date: or cha-date: then press enter it should guide you through.

change date: 'enter'
Year =
2006 'enter' (If you did not get to this point then I would say it is your access level that is stopping you from executing the command).
Let us know what Siemens tell you.
