Unhappy Dial-In Access to HiPath possible?

Hi all,
I'm not able to determine which possibilities exist for dial-in administrative access to a HiPath PBX.

Is there a possibility by default? Or is the only way to connect a modem? Sorry, if this question seems very simple to most of you, but even in the HiPath Study Guides I find no detailled explanation on this topic.

Thanks in advance for any hints
Carsten

Most administration from a end user would usually be done with either a LIM (a LAN card) in the system that is on the network of the customer, or by serial cable connected to the system. You would then need the Manager E or C software. It is fairly easy to use, but without it administration by "dialing in" can be dificult.

In the UK we can dial in over an ISDN2e (inbuilt modem) or analogue (analogue modem card required) circuit to a specified number programmed at day of install, and of course setup to accept remote access.

I don't know if this helps but it paints a clearer picture.

Regards
