Let's talk product

All right. I have collected various ESI stuff over the years and I'm the proud owner of an IVX128+. I"m in love with the S-class so now I'm trying to place a value on the 128 cabinet.

How much is it worth, can I possibly trade a 128 and some number of phones for an S class and 2 phones?

Carl

The cabinet alone isn't the value factor. If it has a 684 port card in it then you got something.

In your search for an S-Class try to get one with an NSP card so you can toy with VIP software.

The value of the 128+ could vary greatly depending on configuration... the base cabinet only isn't work much, they sell on eBay for under $100, add a port card or two and you could have something...

If you go for an S-Class be sure to get a Generation II with an NSP module... Note that if you look a little, you could probably get a small E-Class for the same money, and if you looked hard enough you might be able to get a ESI-50 Comm Server for a little more (the economy not so good, businesses going under... you never know) and its much newer and has many more features and capabilities and is still fully supported and being developed and improved...
