Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Hi rixride, nope, they have different programming languages. 250, may use a GUI, a software application(rasc/BMS) or a telephone set. While MD110 uses its own version of unix(for upgrading or repair of prom sets or creating or making backup or checking its own file system) and its GUI, maybe done in Hyperterminal or using a software provided by ericsson(FIOL).

Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Hi uttamganta Well, for me lets say 1 is lowest and 10 is highest. For Technicality(in other words, is it hard to program) 250 - 2 110 - 2 For stability or dependability 250 - 8 110 - 10 for performance 250 - 8 110 - 10 I haven't handled nortel and mitel products, but one thing I know, they are a lot more expensive than ericsson.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | BP250 used Rasc now BMS MD110 Uses Fiol and Win Fiol Unfortunately having worked in the field for 21 years . I must ay that the BP250 if installed properly with card of the right revisions for compatibility issues is propably the best equiped small / Med PABX in the market having evolved from the BP150 only little probs doesnt . Only if the card rvisions are wrongly matched it can cause problems. MD110 propably the most reliable PABX on the market its only down fall is ericsson waits to long before introducing new products(eg compare Call Centre Solidus Nortel Simposium) much to late. These 2 PABX will propably remain upgradeable for a long time. ![]()

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | HI there MD110, easy to upgrade and maintain, programming is a bit involved, this is more compatible and flexible due to the complexity. UN prefers using the Ericsson MD110. Also have a look at the latest product, MXone telephony server, comes with classic gateway, support legacy kit as well as a full IP switch, so if network fails, can always fall back on the good ol analogue and digital phones. Multiple sites work great with MD110 and remote LIM's. Central control over evrything. ACD on MD110 is lame at best. Command structure takes some getting use to, but no LDxx to worry about. Meridian has great flexibility (sometimes too much), Avaya's built in help is tough to beat. I guess it's mostly a matter of personal preference.
