If you have an inskin vmail card (voicemail card in the switch), you could try resetting it.

1. Locate the VM card, which usually has an orange or yellow tag on it.

2. Just under the white plastic tab at the top of the card is a very small black up/down toggle switch.

3. Slide the switch down and wait for 30-60 seconds or so, the use the white tab to pop the vm card loose from the slot so it is no longer powered up. Don't remove it from the slot, just pull it forward an inch or so.

4. Wait another 30-60 seconds and push the vm card in firmly, once it is seated slide the toggle switch back up.

You should see activity on the HDD led towards the bottom of the card. It will take anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes for the card to boot up, like a PC.

If you cannot get the card to work after a reset like this you will need to call a vendor. There are a couple of more tricks you can do, but they require software and training.

Disregard my post above ^^^^

I just noticed you said you were able to check your greeting, so I assume when you dial the VM it answers and allows you to check your messages.

You have probably somehow removed the call forwarding on your ext.

to reset the call forwarding lift the handset (or press [speaker]) and dial 43 then the voicemail pilot number (usually 200 or 300) then replace the handset.
