Cool SMDR output from IPK II?

Gang,

I am new to the NEC PBX, and have found a need to export the SMDR information. I see that it is possible to do SMDRoE. I have it configured with an IP address & port, but cannot get any output. The port is active, as I can telnet to it. I was attempting to use TriviumSys Call Data Manager & Call Analyst to no avail. I figured before I called their support, I would ask if anyone else is currently extracting SMDR information via IP vs. via serial port. Any information you could provide would be outstanding! None of the NEC manuals have been of any assistance

Thanks in advance!

Did you buy a license to do SMDR?

You need a license on the IPKII to output SMDR in any format. You can access all the SMDR programs but it will not work.

Gosh, that is a good question. I have sort of inherited this system as administrator, and know nothing of the licensing. I'm not even sure who I would contact to find this information out. Ideas?

If you can access the system using web-pro (type in the IP address of the system to your web browser. it's 172.16.0.10 by default) log into web-pro and look at the Activate Features icon.

Should look like this:

You will have to contact an NEC dealer to purchase & install a license.

Interesting. I haven't seen that screen. The only screen I currently know of, that I have access to is the SPE Web Manager. Is there somewhere within the SAT software where I could find this configured IP address for the web-pro page? I'm not sure that the former admin had any of this documented, nor can I find any system documentation that talks about web-pro. Your assistance if greatly appreciated!!!

Are you using PC PRO or the SPE connect software, the SPE was only for the IPK and not the IPK2

We are currently using the SPE connect software. I could swear it is the IPK II. I'll double check on Monday. I can connect via web to the SPE card and enable SMDRoE, but I can get no output to anything via that service. At this point, I have no idea how to verify what we are licensed for. I just saw PC Pro online tonight, and would love to know how that software works, and where I could find a copy (if I don't have one hiding on our network already.) Also, I see that it talks on port 8000? I tried to telnet to that port, and got no response, so I assume that our unit isn't setup for pc pro connectivity? Any further direction would be fantastic!

Here's all I can see: (see attachment)

Thanks for your time!

Is there any way for me to verify within the system as to what licenses I have without web-pro (as I don't seem to have that application.) I tried the SPE IP address, but that doesn't work. Is it possible that the system could have multiple IP's?

Thanks much!

It sounds like you have an IPK system, not an IPKII.

What does the screen on the phone display if you press FEATURE 3?
