Rep Power: 0 ![]() | We have three phone lines coming into our Electra Elite 48 (SP013 V3.11). 1 - How can I set the voice mail to have different greetings for different phone lines? And further to leave messages at different extensions. a. CO LINE 01 to hear greeting from extention 101, and to be able to leave a message at Ext. 101 b. CO LINE 02 to hear greeting from extension 102, and to be able to leave a message at Ext. 102 c. CO LINE 03 to hear greeting from extension 103, and to be able to leave a message at Ext. 103 Last edited by kevinm2 : 01-05-2007 at 08:07 PM.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | If you have an Elite Mail you can use Trunk Mapping to send a specific trunk to specific mailboxes, or you can create CAR extensions DIT the Lines to the CAR extension and then forward the CAR to voicemail. Create a different mailbox for each CAR extension.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | We need all phones (extensions) to ring and be able to answer when a call comes in from CO LINE 01, 02 or 03. Steps I took were (3-42): 1- Go off line 2- Press LK3 3- Hit “Transfer” 4- Dial 42 5- Dial * * * * * followed by pressing “CO LINE 02” to ring on the second line. 6- Enter extension 102 7- Hit “Transfer” 8- Hit “Speaker to go back online. I have the same setting for 3-43. -It will not get to the greeting from Ext. 102. -Only Ext 102 can answer the phone. What am I doing wrong? Rep Power: 4 ![]() | In program 3-42 you are assigning the trunk to ring a specific station in day mode, and that station only. The trunk will follow any call forwarding set on that ext. You should remove any 'ringing' programmed for that trunk in program 4-01. You also want to make sure that the phone extension is set to call forward to voice mail when not answered. (if you just call 102 does it go to vm after x amount of rings?). D __________________ NEC NTAC 1 800 852 4632 http://www.necntac.com http://www.2000stuff.com http://ipk2stuff.com/

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | From ext 102, dial: Speaker, 43 then your voicemail pilot number. D __________________ NEC NTAC 1 800 852 4632 http://www.necntac.com http://www.2000stuff.com http://ipk2stuff.com/

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I performed the following: - Speaker -> 43 -> Voice Mail Pilot number - Through memory 4-01, LK1-LK8 for all extensions have been set to GREEN for day and night. Now when dialing Ext. 102 internally it goes to 102's greeting when not answered or busy. But when we call that phone number CO LINE 02 (trunk) the call exclusivley goes to 102's voice mail directly. We can not answer the phone at extension 102 nor any other extension! Last edited by kevinm2 : 01-07-2007 at 12:40 AM. Reason: Status update since last reply

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | So an internal call to 102 rings the phone x times then fwds to voicemail, but a call to co line 2 goes to mailbox 102 immediately without ringing the phone? That is odd, internal and external calls to 102 should be hndled the same. What if a call is transferred to 102? Does it ring then go to vm or go to mailbox 102 without ringing the phone? The default codes for cfd on the phone ext's are: Spkr 41 + destination = Set Call forward all calls Spkr 42 = Cancel forward all calls (also cancels DND) Spkr 43 + destination = Set Call forward busy/no ans Spkr 44 = Cancel call forward busy/no ans D __________________ NEC NTAC 1 800 852 4632 http://www.necntac.com http://www.2000stuff.com http://ipk2stuff.com/
