Rep Power: 0 ![]() | elite 48 caller id. i just took over a customer's system and they have new dial tone from another company. now their caller id info does not show up. i have check with a test set and caller id box and they are definitely sending the caller id. i've checked the manual thoroughly and have found no problems in programming. any suggestions.? | ||||||||

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Check the system software level (dial feature button then 03 on dialpad). I believe that you need 4.0 or higher for caller ID. Check that the CO card(s) in the switch is a COIB (4 or 8 ) or a COID (4 or 8 ). If CO card is only a COI-(4 or 8 ) then it won't display caller ID) If the card are correct you want to look at programs 1-8-08, 4-17, and program 1-1-78. Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Thanks Doghart, All of the settings you suggested are correct. It is weird. The only thing that has changed is the dial tone. They changed from one carrier to another. do you know if there is any settings for caller id that the c.o can change. I do understand that there is a couple different types of caller id????
