Location: Texas Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Elite 48 installation I am fairly new to PBX installations and am in need of information for an NEC Electra Elite 48 cabling and port assignements. I have a programming manual, which really looks daunting , but my customer is talking about expansion and I will need to wire out and program new phones. Any help is appreciated.

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | The Elite 48 is the most basic of the the elite systems. There are two slots on the lower right side of the cabinet where 2 25pair amphenol tails plug in and should route to a punch down block. The tail on the top will have the 8 digital phone ports that run off the motherboard, then any ports supplied by co or station cards in the slots 3 and 4 (slot 2 is not used). The second amp tail will have any ports from cards plugged into slots 5-7. if you go to any phone and press FEATURE then 4 it will tell you the phone's ext number and what port it is on. D
