B-Channel Service Messages

Hello. I have a question about turning off B-Channel Service Messages in a DMS. I found a thread on another site explaining how to turn off when the DMS is set to the NI2 variant (add NO_BCH_SERV to the SERV tuple in Table LTDATA) but nothing when the DMS is set to NTNAPRI. Can anyone elaborate?
Thanks in advance!

B-channel service messages can not be turned off for an NTNAPRI.

The B-channel service messages are used to communicate B-channel states (i.e. call processing busy, idle, manually busy).

When NI-2 was developed, B-channel service messages were not required/omitted from the spec. NI-2 uses algorithms to determine channel states. Nortel left the B-channel services messages as an option with the option in the on state as the default.

For an NTNAPRI which is similar to NI-1 (though not exactly), the B-channel service messages are always required and thus can not be turned off.
