Interfacing E911 to DMS via TM8 with CAMA trunks (analog trunks).
Having trouble with trunk becoming busy with calls presented back to back...within 2-45 secs. DMS shows re-route abandon, but posted trunk shows idle...
Any suggestions or opinions!

Get on target with Daffy

Hate not to anwer your question but what does it take to set up OSN with E911 over a CAMA trunk. I am currently running ISDN trunks. Can you reprogram a ISDN trunk into a CAMA trunk or do you have to special order CAMA trunks.

E911 had been installed on a KSU, now moved to DMS..Qwest can only deliver as CAMA trunks. I'm not sure of OSN, can you elaborate.
Logs were showingTRK 116 (pre-route abandon) and being made busy by Qwest/Entrado.
The CAMA trunks terminate on a TM8 (2x82 witha 2X77 daughterboard).
The diag test they're doing is sending KP 8 ST. I changed parameter in Table OFCSTD;pos EA_rec_max_wk_time from 150 to 250 as they said they were seeing 150msec instead of 250msec. Now instead of the pre-route abandon, i get call default routed. I have a cal in to test center and waiting for a call-back.

Call Pilot Server specs.

This posting is for info purposes only, there's not been resolution, Yet!
Wow!!
Still haven't resolved Cama trunk issue but some things are changing! 1.
Was finally able to speak with engineer at "center" of issue who was able to see problem happening and removing MANB situation from translations able to complete two calls and the third one then goes into fault. The fault is again upon the second call, which doesn't complete, it's then "tested' and left in MANB until I call and ask for it to be released. The DMS doesn't see the key-pulse and produces the pre-route abandon. Secondly, and supposedly the "center" is expecting to see 250msec of wink (at this point no calls are able to reach our dispatchers). Specs are 140-290msecs and they're measuring 150+/-. but calls come thru.
Being told now that this has been seen before and a card has to be changed!!
