How do I set a information mailbox in the voice mail.
I want to have a mailbox where employe's can listen to a greeting without there being a tone where they can or could leave a message.

If I leave it in the subscriber mailbox setup like it is now, if people just listen and hang up right after the tone. When the mailbox is full the greating won't play.

cha sub xxxx (change subsrcriber)
Go to page two, under
PERMISSIONS
Type:call-answer. Change it to bulletin-board

How do you get the VM to send a broadcast to all sub's

I'm not sure how to send to all without creating a distribution list. I do know how to do that. I'll investigate it a bit further.

I send broadcast messages but they are not advised. I gave my mailbox permissions to be a "broadcast mailbox". Then I go into my voicemail normally, I record the message and then follow the options to make it broadcast. You can choose to turn everyones light on or to just hear your message first when they log into Audix the next time.

The BIGGEST problem... I have 500 people in the company. If everyone gets a light to get their message at once, I only have 6 Audix ports. The 8th person and on will get a busy signal and then will call the switchboard or me telling me Audix is broken. This floods the system and wreaks havoc!!!!!

I have choosen to set up email groups and just email my message to everyone. If the computers are down, I set up a group list in my personal Audix mailbox so when I need something spread all over I sent the voice recording to one or two people per department and ask them to verbally tell their people.
