At my work we have a G3si system. I am trying to connect a couple of 500am headset adapters to a couple of 7406+ phones via the port on the bottom of the phone. If I try this on a phone that has already had a 500am, it works fine. If I try this on a new phone it does not, so I am guessing that something needs to be set in the switch for this to work. Can someone give me instructions on how to set this up?

So I figured it out. It seems that the adjunct port on most of the avaya phones requires extra power to work. The last pair of the port that the user's phone is connected to must be connected to an external power supply.
