Partner ACS - Caller ID ques.

An operator is complaining that she is unable to transfer calls to the extensions with directvm button. I set the extensions above the voicemail ports in the 50's range.

Did I do something wrong?

The highest extension number for ACS R1 and R2 is 49, for ACS R3 and higher would be 57.

So you can't use VMS Transfer (Feature 14) for anything higher than these.

Workaround is to TRANSFER to 777, wait on the line until VM answers and prompts you to log in to check messages, dial *8 to transfer, and then the mailbox number. Hang up quick to complete the transfer and the caller will hear the outgoing message of the mailbox.
