Data Locked in ASA

G3Si R11 4620 IP phones.

My IP solution is working fine on the local network. When I call off site to a remote location VIA network, the phones work great. Problem is when I use a digital line to call, I can hear them, but they can't hear me. I only have about 15 phones deployed, so we're small in that aspect. The IP voice passed through about 3 routers to get to it's location. Do I have some settings for the MedPro or CLAN that might not be correct?? I have duplex to auto since anyother way didn't seem to help and codec of 729A. I recieved a reply from Tek Tips forum to check the MedPro but didn't say what to look for, just said check the settings on the MedPro.

there is not much to configure on the medpro. How about your hairpinning and ip-to-ip settings? Can you copy and past a screenshot? Tell me something about your network switches. Because its packet swichting its weard that you have one-way audio.

Give us some more info and maybe we can help you out.

the mediaprocessors does the ip-voice handling. Please do a list conf all and let me know at what firmware release your medpro and clan board is. There were lots of fw issues in the past. I might expect that this could be a network region problem. Are all the phones in the same region?

it would be a good idea to upgrade the firmware anyway if you cannot fix this one

check support.avaya.com for firmware upgrade

I'm thinking it's past a firmware upgrade.
