Location: Puerto Rico Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I am managing a Avaya PBX, it's a Gov. small Call Center and they have been requested to provide service for TTY clients. What is a simple implementation to handle a TTY call. I know there several phones that can be use for this purpose, from a Analog phone model 6221 to Avaya Digital Phones 6416D and some Avaya IP Phones 4610, 4612, 4620 and 4624. I want it simple, but I believe that I need a Avaya special Software installad in the PC in order to answer back the TTY Hearing Disabilitie Customer. What do you recomend me.

You assign an analog port from the PBX like any analog phone and you do not need to do anything more in the PBX. All the TTY intelligence is contained in the phone. __________________ Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup. Marty
