Hey everyone, newbie here, I've been given the task of figuring out how we can forward calls outside of the switch, e.g. to cell phones. Now, the only info I've been given from I.T. is, we've got a G3...don't know the s.w. version or any other info. What do I need to ask/know to find out how to do this?

thx

You could use whats called EC500 as long as your switch supports it. It will give you the ability to have calls that come into a desk phone ring the cell phone(or any other phone) as well. Download the documentation for the G3 and read up on EC500. That is the best way to learn how to do it. There are quite a few requirements for this to work.

If you can not use EC500 then you could also setup a forward button (Call-fwd, leave the second field blank) on the users phone. Then all they would have to do is press the forward button, then dial the number they want their calls forwarded to.[/url]

Hi,
Change the class of service on 12 row and change it into y, then give this class of service to that station . it will work , now u can transfer ur call to your cell phone , you have to activate call forwarding on that station like this call gorarding +trunk acess code +your cell number .

cheers
