Instead of recording dialed calls from an SMDR port to a printer, is there a way to have it print to a file?? I have my switch on the network. CAn it be done through Site Administrator?

S8700 configuration...help

I am not sure about ASA but I have seen people and posts in other forums that connect the CDR port to a PC. Then open a capture file. The will capture the raw data only. You have to write a program to place the data in form you can read and report on. A lot of work. You can look into the Call accounting packages like CAS from Avaya or Infortel etc.

Hpe the helps
