Greetings , I have a problem with several newly installed 955 sets.Three out of 4 new sets start an audible ring as soon as the external pwr supply is connected. I have yet to install the 9v batterry beccause 1 of the 4 seems to operate normally.Any ideas?
Could it be that there is some kind of program on the one set that needs to be done on the other 3 sets.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

The 955 is an analog 4 line speaker phone. Not really made to be connected to a PBX. It can, but as a single line device, unless you want to connect multiple single line ports to it.
I was designed for a residential, small office, or SOHO application.

I installed a bunch of these phone in my father-in-laws house so they could have two lines and the intercom feature.
