| When the time sprung forward one hour for the time change the switch updated, but all of my phones sprung forward 2 hours. So now my switch has the correct time, but all of my phones are an extra hour ahead. I do not know what caused this to happen, but more importantly how do I get the phones to go back to the correct time. Things I have considered: Busy and release the station - Did not work Call the phone and see if it updates - Did not work Reboot the switch - Can not try until late at night Any help would be greatly appreciated. | ||||||||

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | S8700 Time Change You should have a web interface to correct your time. In your browser, type in the IP address of the PBX. On the left hand side you should have options to adjust the date and time. I'm guessing that daylight saving time might be enabled, but I don't understand why it would be 2 hours ahead. If all else fails, call Avaya. | ||||||||

| Just for everyones information. The problem was because the phones were reading the time change from two separate places. 1. They were reading the time change rule from the s8700 2. They were also reading the time change setting from - Change Locations (The Rule field was set to 1) I simply typed in Change Locations and set the Rule field to 0, and now all of the phones display correctly. | ||||||||
