Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Too Many Pre-qualified PBX Leads not enough Pbx Dealers! I have a MV8300 and recently got some great suggestions on adding a gateway to it here on the forum. After adding the gateway to the configuration the 8300 can ping and talk to a phone on another network. The problem is that the phone does not receive an audio stream. (It does transmit an audio stream though, as I can call it and it will ring and be heard, but the user on the phone that is on the other network cannot hear anything.) So, I have a one way audio problem. Is there a feature I need to configure in the 8300 to allow the audio to pass through this gateway. Everything else seems to pass no problem. I can see TCP being sent to the phone by looking at it through a sniffer, the phone will ring, and carry on a one way conversation so I know that they are communicatng. Any ideas of something I might be missing? Thanks, bigbadbillyc

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Well....I got my one way audio problem straightened out. The default gateway in the one phone did not know how to reach the other network. By manually adding a default gateway I can now talk to that phone and it can talk to me....Unfortunately I still can not get dial tone on the phone that sits on the different sub-network. I can ping the phone from the PBX, and can make calls with the phone, but when it goes off hook.....no dialtone. The phone itself is fine as I have tried configuring it on the same subnet as the 8300 itself and everything work great then. Hmmmmmmm......any ideas?
