Too Many Pre-qualified PBX Leads not enough Pbx Dealers!

I have a MV8300 and recently got some great suggestions on adding a gateway to it here on the forum. After adding the gateway to the configuration the 8300 can ping and talk to a phone on another network.

The problem is that the phone does not receive an audio stream. (It does transmit an audio stream though, as I can call it and it will ring and be heard, but the user on the phone that is on the other network cannot hear anything.)

So, I have a one way audio problem. Is there a feature I need to configure in the 8300 to allow the audio to pass through this gateway. Everything else seems to pass no problem. I can see TCP being sent to the phone by looking at it through a sniffer, the phone will ring, and carry on a one way conversation so I know that they are communicatng. Any ideas of something I might be missing?

Thanks,

bigbadbillyc

Well....I got my one way audio problem straightened out. The default gateway in the one phone did not know how to reach the other network. By manually adding a default gateway I can now talk to that phone and it can talk to me....Unfortunately I still can not get dial tone on the phone that sits on the different sub-network. I can ping the phone from the PBX, and can make calls with the phone, but when it goes off hook.....no dialtone. The phone itself is fine as I have tried configuring it on the same subnet as the 8300 itself and everything work great then. Hmmmmmmm......any ideas?
