| Stumped! Ok, I am fairly certain this is not possible, but I must ask. First off, I have a definity G3Si V11 I know that you can pass digits from a vector to an IVR and collect digits while in a vector, but is it possible to pass digits from one vector to another. As far as I know this cannot be done directly, but maybe someone out there has come up with an ingenious way using vector controlled hunt groups or something. The purpose is so I can create a vector that collects the digit a customer presses and then routes them to a vector that can handle there call, but I would like that vector to play an announcement based on the digit they pressed in the previous vector. For what I am doing I have to go to a new vector, so setting this all up in one vector is not possible. There is a good reason I am asking this question, but it would be an extremely long post if I explained it all. I hope this made sense. | ||||||||

Let's see if Tris has any insight.... I know it may be long and drawn out, but perhaps if you give us a little more insight into what your trying to achive, we may have other options....

I want to think shortly about this one. For the moment i think its not doable, but there are some features in communication manager 2.xx and also in the upcoming release 3

| Looking to purchase Avaya solution Ok here is a quick run down of an application that I think being able to pass variable from one vector to another would be useful. Number: 115 Name: ChekCollWait Multimedia? n Attendant Vectoring? n Meet-me Conf? n Lock? n Basic? y EAS? y G3V4 Enhanced? y ANI/II-Digits? y ASAI Routing? n Prompting? y LAI? n G3V4 Adv Route? y CINFO? y BSR? y Holidays? y 01 announcement 0145 02 goto step 7 if expected-wait for skill 8 pri h < 60 03 goto step 9 if expected-wait for skill 8 pri h < 120 04 goto step 11 if expected-wait for skill 8 pri h < 180 05 goto step 13 if expected-wait for skill 8 pri h <= 300 06 goto step 13 if expected-wait for skill 8 pri h >= 300 07 announcement 0210 08 goto vector 114 if unconditionally 09 announcement 0211 10 goto vector 114 if unconditionally 11 announcement 0236 12 goto vector 114 if unconditionally 13 announcement 0238 14 goto vector 114 if unconditionally This vector simply tells the customer what their appoximate hold time is. The only problem is that I have to create one of these for every split. If I could pass variable from one vector to another I would be able use one vector to handle calls to multiple splits. You can see how static this vector is by the fact that it only checks the wait for one split and routes to only one vector. | ||||||||
