Hi All
I have a network of Avaya Definity pabx.
The main site is a Definity G3R. Five other sites with Definity G3si are connected to the main Pabx (G3r) using ISDN-PRI T1 Trunks.
One Octel 300 voice mail server is connected to the main site G3r Pabx using ISDN-PRI Qsig E1 Trunk.
The 5 remote sites are using voice mail remotely from this same Octel 300 voice mail server.
The problem now is that when messages are droped in the remote sites voice mail box, the message waiting lights does not light.

Any help grom you guys will be apreciated.

Did this ever work? Or is it something you're trying to setup now?

Yes it did work when we had an APIC integration between the Avaya G3r Pabx and Octel 300 voice mail server.

Presently we have changed the integration between the G3R and the octel 300 to DTIC.

can you tell us something about the reason you changed the integration, and maybe copy and past some screenshots of things like voiceports an links?

Hi;

Is it possible to use basic telephony features of the PBX to set the MW lights on the distant phones. This will help prove the issue is not in the PBX.

When the integration was changed, were there any changes to the codes needed to set MW lamps in PBX or OCTEL.

Cheers.
