I looked on page 3 of my System-parameters Customer-options I can see that "Hospitality (G3V3 Enhancements)? y" is set to "y". I am very excited about getting this to work. I asked the instructor today if I could try to do this in the lab on Friday after the training, so hopefully there will be time.

As far as the training, I like it so far. I am new to telephone systems so there is alot of information I need to learn.

That's great news with your switch Herb!

I'm not sure how you'll test in the lab...without the oracle VM to see how it handles the client room feat...

With regards to class, it's a little more "introductory" than I expected (we spent a good chunk of the afternoon introducing ASA to people...which is a good thing if that's what you need. Unfortunately this is probably going to end up being nothing more than a resume booster for me than anything else.

While daily practice is irreplaceable, I was hoping to get more info regarding the newer features in Communications Management Server....oh well.

Steve the way I was planing on testing was just by looking at the display when I make a call and see how the informaion is sent. I need the extention to be sent first. I hope I can get that to work.

Well Steve, i was hoping that you would know everything about communication manager after the course..... I know how you must feel, most of the courses i did where after i had to install/maintain the systems that were evaluated in those courses. Maybe you can enjoy more of the enviroment and place you are, because your head will not be full of information at evening....You can see that as a benefit:P
