| I am trying to install Avaya IP Softphone R5.14. After installing the software and configuring I am able to get logged in just fine. However, when I attempt to make a call I get no dial tone. I can call the softphone extension and it rings but I can not answer. I have installed the software on several different PCs and laptops. I have gotten it to work correctly on one PC, but on all the rest I get the same problem. Any thoughts. | ||||||||

Location: Netherlands Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Look in to avaya Modular Messaging with Exchange mhhh. sounds like probably a media processor setting or problem. i mean, youve got the signaling of the clan, but no audio, so no medpro resources if you use road warrior mode. in the case of telecommuter access, it could be another problem. can you please copy and past the ip softphone settings you use? And is this the only softphone, or are you testing someting out? Please some more details. Thetris | ||||||||
