UCID

recently I have been locked out of two of my S8100-G600's using
Avaya Site Administration when I try to connect I get the error message "Connection Terminated by Peer" and I cannot gain access. On one system I am locked out of Audix and the other I am locked out of DefOne. Systems function but I can not perform administration duties. Any ideas?

Yahoooooo!

are you shure its no network issue? I mean i never saw anything like locked-out at a mediaserver or audix. In the worst case you just can not login. So what do you mean by locked out, did this happen after some actions you did, like trying to login?

Not using on network. Whether using connected Keyboard, mouse and monitor or crossover cable, or dialed in and using VPN the same errors come up. "Communications error: Connection closed by peer" or "Communications error: No available ports". I have tried everything I can think of. I have no problem accessing the Windows 2000 desktop even the web browser but when I try to hit the PBX or Audix i run into trouble.

with my laptop I connect to the TN2314 processor card via the front panel using a cross-over cable. This allows me to use the "Avaya Site Administration" program to access the PBX and Audix systems. I have also connected a keyboard, mouse and monitor to the pigtail on the back of the processor card. ASA is installed on the W2k desktop. by utilizing the keyboard I am able to access ASA and log into the PBX. the 3rd way I usually access the system is dialup on the inads line. the final way I use to access the system is terminal server or VPN. none of these ways currently work for me. I have no problems accessing and manipulation the W2K desktop. The other 14 S8100's I maintain are not having this problem and the above mentioned ways of accessing them works fine. The error mesages I receive are "Communications error: Connection closed by peer" and "Communications error: no ports available" I utilize ports 23 and/or 24 on the Communications Manager.
