| autoattd We've had a recent request to play a whisper greeting prior to dropping an ACD call to the agents. We run an s8700 IP Connect with Interaction Center 6.1 CTI. Have any of you set something like this up? I've heard of it being done but haven't delved into it much. Most of what I find in the documentation pertains to whisper paging - not a whisper tone agent greeting. Does Avaya call it something else? Also, does it just use an announcement? And where would you specify it to play per VDN? Thanks, Will | ||||||||

| firewall and bcms vu I figured it out - and feel like a dork it was so easy. What Other's call Whisper Tones, Avaya calls "VDN of Origin Announcements." You just set an announcement number in the VDN and make sure that the COR your agents are assigned in has "Hear VDN of Origin announcement" set to yes. | ||||||||
