RE:

Hello,
My company has an S8500. Here's what I'd like to do: have a webpage on our intranet which uses ASP or a Java servlet to query the LDAP database on the 8500 to build a phonebook. Is it possible? Right now we have a receptionist who manually tracks extensions using an Excel spreadsheet. This solution is tedious, inelegant and error-prone. What LDAP implementation does Avaya use? OpenLDAP?

Do you use Softphone? It has an ldap search tool that works great.
