I have a G3r at my main location, and a G3si at one of my remotes. Both are connected to the PSTN via PRI. I am able to receive calls where the calling party's name is displayed, however, I cannot get the two above mentioned systems to display caller name when a DID is dialed from location to location. Any suggestions?

I have all trunk groups set up with 'send name' set to Y. If I change 'send number' to N, I can see that reflected, but no change with 'send name'.

Also, when I call from one of my test stations to my main station, via PSTN, only number is carried.....

FREE BASIC TRAINING FOR DEFINITY

Hi Tim,

We have a Definity G3i connected to two G3si. We also use PRI to connect the main G3i to the two G3si's. We are also using DCS between the main switch and the two remote switches. For that we have two hunt groups for each site, one for voice and the other for data.

I am guessing that this is not the way you have it set up. We can dial DID numbers of people (4 digit only) and through the udp routing, it comes up with name and number on the display (8410D).

Let me know if this is what you have. If not, I will post more on the DCS set up.
