Issuing TEST INADS command from an S8100 / S8300 / S8700

To perform a TEST INADS on an S8700, telnet into the S8700 and login as dadmin. Issue the TEST INADS command from the Unix prompt. If the program's path is not in the current shell environment, do a Unix command "find" to search the program and path.

You cannot do a TEST INADS while you're RASed into the S8700 (cannot do TEST INADS while the S8700's modem is tied up). You have to do this via network (LAN/WAN or VPN).

I found out from an Avaya Partner...

The unix command to execute should be "testinads" (one word).
